Where did the sun go?

and why is it so COLD?!?! The winds last night were crazy.

Ok, on to my highlight of last night:

I was finally sitting down to enjoy a nice PVR'd (seriously, how did we live w/o PVRs?) version of Parenthood...

I'm thinking I can faintly make out the sounds of a cat meowing in the far off distance...  oh well, focus back to tv land... 

The outside noise grew more intense with time. Lovely, a new annoying cat has moved into my hood.

Wow, this annoying cat sounded kinda like my annoying cat.

Huh.. fancy that, cats sounding the same... back to tv land...

Things were sounding a lil more insistent.

As I lifted the blinds to my {full window} balcony door, there paced {just a wee bit freaked & panick stricken} MY cat. 

I opened the door, totally chuckling to myself, and the poor bugger busted in so fast one would think he'd been out there for weeks!

It was more like less than an hour since I had been out there moon-gazing... Guess that was when Mr. Annoying thought he could ravage some of my plants... 

Lesson learned lil bugger... lesson learned. The dog will not rescue you. She was too busy snoring peacfully on the couch, with a wee smile ;)

autumn

Usually autumn is my fave time of the year. Crisp days filled with sunshine & crunchy leaves. 

Since this summer had such a late start on the west, and up until 2 days ago I could still wear shorts in comfort, I wasn't even thinking much of the clouds.

Then came yesterday. Crisp and CLOUDY. wtf?!

Not exactly the pretty little row of sunshines according to my weather apps.

Today DRIZZLE. C'mon little rows of sunshine, cowboy up!

I really do enjoy having my birthday in line with the change of seasons, but obviously someone didn't get my wish list. SUN.
