Don't ask what the
world needs.
Ask what makes you
come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

The Original Hockey Lace Belt

OMG... Why didn't I think of this?

I'm sure that's what everyone says when they see these awesome belts! I first came across The Original Hockey Lace Belt on Dragons' Den the other night.

The Original Hockey Lace Belt

The Original Howies Hockey Lace Belt is made from 3 lightly waxed, genuine Howies skate laces sewn to a durable backing for strength and rigidity. It's a thick, heavy duty, and well-made belt.

The Hockey Lace Belt is one size fits all - up to a 42" waist.

The brushed nickel buckle is solid and cinches tight for a reliable hitch. Our classic Canadian logo is engraved into the buckle.

Every belt is neatly rolled and packaged in a small plastic box.

Now go and order yours today! Oh and they're only $39.99!!

About the team:

These Creatures™ is a metal fabrication and design studio focused on producing quality, sustainable products for the modern creature. It is owned and operated by brother / sister team: Andrew Finkel (aka Frank Mansfield) and Amy Finkel. Andrew, whose background lies in custom furniture and retail design, founded these creatures in 2008, and is its current Founder & Creative Director. In 2009, Andrew welcomed his Brooklyn blood relation, Amy, to join as Director of Design & Marketing. There is no sibling rivalry between them but it probably doesn't hurt that Andrew and his shop, where all These Creatures™ products are manufactured, is located in the Seattle area, 3000 miles away from sis Amy. It's the perfect cross-country partnership!

At These Creatures™ we strive to produce innovative, unique and creative products of the highest quality. Currently, we provide an ergonomic and durable line for stylish animals and humans everywhere. Our designs are sleek pieces of art that complement modern decor and showcase the animal as part of the family. We produce products for dogs, cats, wildlife and humans.

Our commitment to animals extends beyond our business. Everyone at These Creatures™ is personally involved in animal rescue, and a percentage of our profits goes to the support of animal rescue organizations that make the world a better place for animals and the people who love them.

i heart my SIGGs

I travel with water. Its a must to me, right up there with my mascara (I have invisible eyelashes, but thats a whole other story).

I absolutely LOVE my SIGG bottles & I have a few sizes (I've even been known to bring all with me to make sure I have enough water if there isn't a chance to refill - hehe)

SIGG. SWISS MADE. SINCE 1908.

SIGG Switzerland AG is a renowned company with a long and unique history of success. Founded in Switzerland over 100 years ago, SIGG specializes in reusable aluminum water bottles. These «Original Swiss Bottles» are produced in our own manufacturing plant in Switzerland, and with an export share of more than 90%, they make a global statement for quality, design and eco-friendliness.

All SIGG bottles are 100% recyclable and contribute significantly to reducing the global carbon footprint. Every year, we launch a new design collection of SIGG bottles, two of which have found their way into the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.

SIGGs not only hold water - they can be amazing musical instruments too!

Check out 'Play SIGG' an interactive art installation from a group in Tokyo Japan.
