10 years later...

Can't believe its been 10 years.
I remember exactly what I was doing that morning.
I will always remember those that lost their lives and I will always relish my freedom.
Don't ask what the
world needs.
Ask what makes you
come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Where did the time go?
I'll tell you where: H-O-C-K-E-Y
Holy crap did I get sucked into the playoffs and lost all contact with the outside world!
Seriously! Its more than half way through June? OMFG!
Psst - Can someone turn off the winter weather here then? Thanks!!
I know I know... the world did not come to a standstill like our city did, as we held breaths with our beers high, hoping for a shot at the cup... Better yet the world did not turn into a bunch of drunken buffoons! Yes our home team lost. Suck up your beer and go sulk at home. DO NOT torch cars and loot stores. Simple as that. Ok I'm over that rant.
Now its time to get excited again about happy stuff!!
Tomorrow is the 1st official day of summer (well that's what it says on my calendar) so damn it, the sun better be shining!!
I can't get enough of this song! I love it soo much!
When I hear a song that seems to go through me, not just that its playing and I hear it, but I feel it...
Yep, those are the BEST songs!!
Mumford & Sons - The Cave
Why do you hate us so much? I just really need to ask!
Seriously, you have tortured us for the last few months with relentless gray days and the ever present rain drops... barely even teasing us with a few random hours of glorious sunshine! What did we do to offend you?
Or should we be thanking you? While many others places on earth have been faced with life threatening earthquakes, wildfires, floods and tornados, our worst complaint is some lack of sunshine...
So, to all of those affected by the current natural disasters, my heart goes out to you.
To those of us here: c'mon a little bit of rain isn't so bad...
Gotta love public transportation! Seriously I get to see things I would totally miss locked in the confines of my personal vehicle, what with its clean comfy chairs and non-contaminated communal airspace... geez who needs that?!?!
So today, as the lovely skytrain soared past unsuspecting private backyards, I got to witness something I wish I could burn from my eyeballs! Some poor bloke thought he was all alone to remove his shirt and shake out whatever crap he got all over it, all the while his moobs flapped around... Definitely not a synchronized moment... I'm traumatized for life.
As I drew my attention back into the train, I was confronted by this 12ish yr old boy going to town licking his applesauce cup. Damn he cleaned that thing spotless in seconds! Felt like I was gawking at what should've been a very private moment, something possibly banned in some countries.... ewwwwww...
Public transportation - nothing but class...
